Cristina Barbu, RN, BSN

Cristina is an absolute cornerstone at DripIV.  In addition to the incredible skill set and “drop everything” to drive an IV to someone at their home, Cristina is also our training nurse and has developed a true passion for teaching new nurses why working at DripIV is so different from a clinical environment. Cristina takes a very thoughtful approach to administering an IV and has worked closely with our Medical Director, Dr. Joel Kahn to understand the properties of each vitamin, the measurement, and the logic behind each custom blend.

It’s no surprise why she was awarded the “Making a Difference” star award during her extensive work at the University of Michigan Hospital in the Cardiology Unit.

Cristina has always focused on holistic and alternative medicine after suffering an injury from overuse of her joints. Vitamins and minerals are two of the main types of nutrients that your body needs to survive and achieve optimal wellness. IV Nutrient Therapy can be used in two ways – to proactively maintain optimum health and wellness, or to address acute and chronic conditions. Cristina has mastered the art of addressing the needs of each client and delivering an IV therapy custom-made for them.

Biography

In her free time, Cristina enjoys spending time traveling with her husband and three daughters. She loves being outside with her girls and dining at some of her favorite date night restaurants in Birmingham.
